Describe how you became involved in Effectuation research.:
I was running a startup and could not find how I was making decisions described in the traditional entrepreneurship literature. Maybe something was wrong with my approach. Then, someone I was working with at INSEAD suggested I take a look at effectuation. I did, and thought: that's what I am doing! I used effectuation for my PhD in 2009.
